Just a reminder, the dress code is the same for concerts as in school. Cropped and low cut tops are not permitted, and jeans are not to be worn too far below the waist. If they come dressed inappropriately at the school concerts they will not be permitted to perform.
In consideration of space, we are able to allow 2 tickets per family for the concert. The cost is $4.00 per ticket.
Tickets will be sold in the main office at the school starting Tuesday, December 12th. Beginning Friday, December 15th all remaining tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR.
As in previous years, we request pre-schoolers not be brought to the performances.
Delayed Opening - Tuesday, December 19th
Due to our concert being at night rather than in the afternoon and the lateness in which students will arrive home, there will be a delayed opening on Tuesday, December 19th . School will begin at Kindergarten students will come at this time as well and will attend for the full day.
Christmas Gifts (IMPORTANT)
At this time most classes have drawn names for the exchange of Christmas gifts. During the last few years the amount of gift exchange has increased dramatically in school. This has resulted in feelings of alienation from students who did not receive gifts from their friends, and feelings of distress from those students who can=t afford to buy extra gifts.
We are requesting that students limit their gift giving in class only to those whose name they have drawn. If students wish to give gifts to others, it should be done at another time.
Christmas parties will take place on Thursday, December 21st.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS ARE FROM DEC. 22ND – JAN. 03RD/07. Students return to school on January 8th since Jan. 4th & 5th are teacher in-service days.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. This has been a wonderful Fall. The students here are #1 and your support has been appreciated.
